Global Power Services rebrands as part of parent company’s new identity
This year, our parent company marks its 20th anniversary, a significant milestone that reflects two decades of vision, resilience, and, above all, the commitment of its people.
In its 20th year, the company is taking a bold step into a new era with the launch of a refreshed identity that reflects who it is today and the direction it is heading as a forward-thinking investor. From today, Global Energy Group and its investment arm, GEG Capital, come together under a single identity and will now be known simply as Global.
Since being acquired by Global in May, our priority has remained on developing and growing the business. Changing our name and identity is now part of that journey. As of today, Approved Power Services becomes Global Power Services, linking the business to the wider Global brand.
Gerry Donnelly, Global Power Services Managing Director, commented: “Having spent my career in the industry, I know first-hand the graft, the skill, and the commitment it takes to deliver safely and deliver well. Those qualities run right through the Global Power Services team. The synergies across the Global businesses can support our clients in the providing solutions to the challenges they have as the industry evolves.”
He continued: “I’m proud of what we’ve built as APS, and look forward to us steping forward as Global Power Services. We’ve got the experience, the people, and now the wider brand to really make our mark in this industry. With your continued commitment, I’ve no doubt we’ll keep delivering, keep growing, and keep leading in the high-voltage sector."
Helping to drive the transition to a more connected society and a low-carbon future, Global Power Services brings expertise to some of the UK and Europe’s most nationally significant energy and utilities infrastructure projects.
